Former San Antonio Spurs guard Josh Primo was released by the organization last week due to worrying allegations of exposing himself to women on several instances. Shocking information about the situation emerged on Thursday that involves a criminal complaint against both Primo and the Spurs organization.
According to NBA insider Shams Charania, former Spurs psychologist Hillary Cauthen has sued both Primo and the Spurs organization along with filing a criminal complaint involving alleged incidents of indecent exposure by Primo.
Cauthen also claims that Primo exposed himself to her on nine separate occasions beginning in December of 2021, and the Spurs organization failed to act on her behalf.

This is far different from Primo’s side of the story, which claims that the incident was a “wardrobe malfunction” from Primo laying down on a couch in basketball shorts.
Many took to social media to give their opinions on this shocking new lawsuit that both Primo and the Spurs are facing.

This is disgraceful. I am glad they got rid of Primo but it's still a stain on the Spurs it didn't get addressed earlier. https://t.co/5QiIL3U9XH

This is why the Spurs cut Josh Primo so abruptly https://t.co/LEDVhe1Obi

If Cauthen’s story is true, then that is some pretty gross negligence coming from the Spurs organization which is typically seen as one of the most well-run franchises in all of sports.
It was previously reported that there were still teams interested in potentially signing Primo after being released by the Spurs.
Considering that he will now be facing a lawsuit and potential criminal charges, that possibility now seems extremely unlikely and may put a screeching halt to his young NBA career.
There will surely be more information to come out about this case, but on the surface this is a terrible look for both Josh Primo and the San Antonio Spurs organization.
