Steph Curry missed a wide-open fast break dunk in Friday’s game against the Lakers, confirming my long-held, statistically unsupported belief that Curry’s accuracy declines as he gets closer to the rim. Remember, this is the same guy who holds the NBA record with 13 three-pointers in a game and has made half-court shots while sitting down.

Anyway, you can see here that Curry gets an easy steal and is all alone at the rim. He rises up with one hand and flat out misses the jam:
