Stephen Curry thought he played like “trash” last night (despite hitting a triple double) but that trash performance must’ve helped fuel him to have an amazing first quarter against the LA Clippers.
Curry had a 25 point first quarter that included him going 9-for-9 from the field and 5-for-5 from three point range. When Steph drilled the first points in the first minute, he seemed like he was in the zone.

It was a 44 point first quarter for the Warriors as Curry got a standing ovation in the Chase Center.
"Why are they stunned? They should be used to these type of performances."

That being said, Curry wasn’t done. He came back in the second quarter to hit another bucket to go to 27 points. Curry’s first miss took place with 4:45 left in the second quarter as he missed a three.
If Steph thinks he played like trash tonight, then he’s clearly lying to us.
