Two weeks ago, the city of Oakland has been brought together after a fire killed 36 people in a former warehouse that was converted into an art house.
The three Oakland sports teams (Athletics, Raiders and Warriors) have each graciously donated $50,000 each and as of tonight, have raised over $485,000 for victims of the fire. Warriors PG Stephen Curry is going to wear special tribute shoes tonight against the Knicks and will auction them off after the game to raise money for the victims.

These shoes look great and it’s a very fitting way to honor and help those who really need it. Along with initials of all the victims’ names, the shoes will surely get the city of Oakland over their $500,000 goal.
