The Golden State Warriors are NBA champions for the fourth time in eight years after taking down the Boston Celtics on Thursday night in Game 6 of the NBA Finals.

It was a remarkable performance by the Warriors, who were huge underdogs by the analytical models all season (even in the Finals!) and had the NBA’s worst record just two years ago.

So, this championship had to feel like a particularly special one for Finals MVP Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, and head coach Steve Kerr; they’ve been part of all four titles.

And on Thursday night, Kerr spoke with the media as the Warriors arrived back in the Bay Area.

Kerr told the media, “I’m not going to lie; I’m hungover right now.”

So that’s a great quote.

Kerr added, “This is incredibly meaningful because people didn’t really expect it, and we weren’t really sure that we could do it.”

Having a hangover is quite understandable after an extremely well-earned night of partying for the Warriors.
