Taylor Swift may be marrying Kansas City Chiefs superstar Travis Kelce later this year, but she’s still a global pop sensation and one of the biggest celebrities on the planet. So big, in fact, that Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr revealed something absolutely wild about how big a fan of hers he is.
To entertain himself during media sessions, Kerr would sneak lyrics from one of Swift’s biggest songs, “All Too Well,” into his answers, according to ESPN. For example, in 2023, he incorporated the song’s opening line into an answer for a halftime interview by saying: “I walked through the door of the locker room at halftime.”
For her part, Swift reportedly found Kerr’s antics “creative and funny.”
Fans reacted to the incredible news on social media.
“Good thing that’s what he was focusing on while his team was getting obliterated every night,” one fan wrote on Twitter.
“Should have been secretly slipping a game plan and Xs and Os into his practices and timeouts instead,” another fan added.
“If only he put this much effort into the season lol 2 more years of this for you golden state,” someone else added.
It’s an interesting tidbit for sure, but Warriors fans will probably want Kerr to keep his focus on hoops moving forward, considering he just signed an extension that will make him the highest-paid coach in the league.
