Meadowlark Lemon, one of the most recognizable Harlem Globetrotters known for his long-distance hook shot that he would make seem so easy, passed away today at the age of 83.

Lemon joined the team in 1954, and gave us so many highlights over the course of the years. Aside from his beautiful long-distance hook, it would be easy to find him chasing down a referee with a bucket that appeared to be water, and confetti would fly out. Below are some of the best examples of Lemon’s revolutionary entertainment that you can find on YouTube.
