Sunday was not a good day for spelling in the sports world. We already covered Cleveland Browns fans butchering the spelling of “Dawg Pound”, and now we have the Phoenix Suns misspelling the last name of their STARTING POINT GUARD, Eric Bledsoe.
The Browns’ one I can let slide due to what we can assume involved plenty of miserable drunk fans acting like miserable drunk fans. Some of them probably had paper bags over their heads and couldn’t even see what they were trying to spell.
But the misspelling from the Suns? Pretty dang embarrassing. This is Bledsoe’s fourth season on the Suns, and he’s averaged 17.9 points per game over that time. Bledsoe is a very good NBA player and especially should be a big deal around his own team. But, apparently not.

Eric Beldsoe. Sheesh.
Bledsoe didn’t let this jersey blunder distract his game on Sunday night, as he had 21 points, six rebounds, and five assists. He also had this awesome alley-oop dunk:

You might want to learn that guy’s name, Suns.
