During the Spurs-Clippers game on Tuesday night in San Antonio, a Spurs fan tried to insult the Los Angeles’ J.J. Redick from the crowd, and did a hilariously terrible job at it.

Hear this fan’s heckling attempt for yourself:

If you could make it out with all of the voice-cracking (or just couldn’t hear it over your own laughter):

“J.J.! You’re not that good! That’s why ya’ll lost by 43 last night!”

Putting the high-pitched voice aside (and let’s be honest, you can’t), let’s look at just a few of the things wrong with the man’s heckling attempt:

1. Jamal Crawford was shooting free throws for the Clippers, not J.J. Redick.

2. As Deadspin’s Kevin Draper points out, the Clippers were not the team that lost by 43 points on Monday night. In fact, they didn’t even play:

Except, the Clippers didn’t play Monday night, and it was the Pistons who lost by 43 points to the Wizards.

3. J.J. Redick is a good player. He’s averaging 16.7 points per game, and leads the NBA in three-point percentage at .480.

4. “You’re not that good” is going to intimidate few professional athletes, and especially not an athlete that heard more disturbing things yelled at him than probably any athlete in the history of college sports:
