TSN missed the start of the Warriors' final possession thanks to this promo.

Canadian NBA fans have often had a bone to pick with how the league is covered north of the border, and they’re certainly justified in that after what happened Tuesday night. The first close game of either conference finals saw the Houston Rockets come away with a 95-92 road win over the Golden State Warriors to even that series at 2-2, but that almost didn’t happen thanks to a Steph Curry three-point attempt to tie it at the buzzer. But TSN came back from a commercial promoting their NASCAR coverage late ahead of that, so viewers only saw the play already in motion. And that led to their tweets about the finish getting ratioed hard:

This play did develop quickly, but American broadcaster TNT was able to return in time (and TSN was only taking their feed, so they should have been able to come back quickly enough as well). And while TSN did manage to get back to the action before the final shot, they missed the build-up to it, and they deserve the criticism they received here.
