The Indiana Pacers had a frustrating season without the services of star point guard Tyrese Haliburton, who went down with a ruptured Achilles tendon in Game 7 of the NBA Finals last season.

Haliburton recently made an apperance on rapper Cam’ron’s “It Is What It Is” podcast, and was asked about some pretty funny topics.

“How do you feel when people be like, ‘he only be with white girls?'” Cam’Ron asked.

“That don’t bother me,” Haliburton responded. “My fiance, she’s a white girl.”

“Dawg, I’m from Wisconsin,” the point guard continued. “I grew up around all white people. My girl is from Iowa, she grew up around all white people.”

Cam’ron then asked Haliburton about his father’s confrontation with Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo from last year’s playoffs, and Haliburton revealed that he was upset with his father at the time, but that it’s water under the bridge now.

Fans reacted to Haliburton’s honesty on social media.

“He’s a biracial mid west kid… let him be himself bra he ain’t grow up in New York or Chicago or Atlanta and that’s OKAY black men don’t have to be these cultural references all their live,” one person wrote on Twitter.

“Cam’ron asking every question we all had back to back to back. He ain’t even letting em breathe between em LMAOOO,” someone else added.

Hopefully, Haliburton will return to his All-NBA form next season.
