It’s been a rough season for the Golden State Warriors. After losing Kevin Durant to the Brooklyn Nets over the offseason, and with Steph Curry and Klay Thompson likely out for the season with injuries, the Warriors find themselves with a 9-29 record. That’s the Western Conference’s worst record, and only a half game behind the Atlanta Hawks (8-29) for the NBA’s worst record.

So, it has to be easy for head coach Steve Kerr to get very frustrated these days, and his frustration came out early in the Warriors’ 111-98 loss to the Sacramento Kings on Monday night at the Golden 1 Center.

In the second quarter, Kerr was furious after a continuation call allowed a layup to count from Kings guard De’Aaron Fox after a foul. Kerr yelled at referee Jason Goldenberg: “Wake your ass up! Wake your ass up! Let’s go! Wake up! Wake up! Wake the fuck up!”

Kerr was given two technical fouls, resulting in an ejection. That’s only the third career ejection for the usually mild-mannered head coach.
