After playing his 13 incredible NBA seasons as a member of the Miami Heat, Dwyane Wade played his first game as a member of his hometown Chicago Bulls on Thursday night at the United Center, and played the hero.

Wade scored 22 points on the night, and made four three-pointers… something that is a rarity for his game:

And his last three-pointer was a huge one. With the Bulls up 101-99 and under 30 seconds left, Wade hit a stepback three-ball with a defender in his face to give the Bulls a five-point lead. Dagger:


Yes, that throat slash may draw a fine, but pretty awesome moment for Wade in his homecoming.

Also, it’s still so freakin’ weird seeing him in anything but a Heat uniform.
