The Kobe Bryant retirement tour made its final stop in Oakland last night. In lieu of a gift — Kobe doesn’t want any — they produced a pretty compelling video tribute instead.
Prior to tonight's action, Jerry West provided this video tribute to Kobe Bryant.https://t.co/jkF6sp8qBN

Of course, it was West who originally brought Bryant to the Lakers via the Vlade Divac trade back in 1996.
After the game Bryant admitted the tribute actually made him a little emotional.
Kobe said the Jerry West tribute almost got him. Was emotional. That's where it all started, with West's belief in him.

As one final gift, the Warriors even let the Lakers hang around until the third quarter before pulling away 116-98.
