Few would ever think of Ron Arte…I mean Metta World Peace, as a candidate for Employee of the Month in anything he did or does. However, that was his cover story as he went undercover at a Modell’s Sporting Goods Store.
His cover name? Naturally it was “Panda.”
I mean, what else would the guy who actually changed his legal name to Metta World Peace pick, right?
Quite a few people caught on to who the “Employee of the Month” was, despite Metta’s best efforts to put suspecting customers off his trail. It didn’t work on some…others took him at his word despite some of the same strange behavior NBA fans have become familiar with.
