Zion Williamson and LeBron James are in action tonight as the Lakers are in New Orleans, and while they haven’t been directly matched up often, that hasn’t kept them from engaging in a bit of back-and-forth one-upmanship.
That was best exemplified at the end of the first half, when Zion took Kyle Kuzma down low and treated him like a trainer in a shootaround, followed by LeBron responding with a pull-up three from Baton Rouge.

If there’s any justice, we’ll get to see LeBron and Zion going directly against each other down the stretch in the fourth quarter of a close game, but if not, this cold war philosophy also works.
