The Oregon State Beavers beat down on the Arizona Wildcats by the score of 42-17 on Saturday night in Corvallis. The 2-9 Wildcats have now lost eight straight games, and they’re winless in PAC-12 play. They haven’t even lost a game by less than double-digits since Week 4, when they lost 35-28 to Washington.

So, it’s been a miserable season for the Arizona football program, and head coach Rich Rodriguez really let his frustration show on Saturday night. I mean, look at whatever the heck this is on the sidelines:

That is a very, very frustrated person. After seeing that, you had to figure there would be some interesting postgame quotes from RichRod, and indeed there were!

RichRod thinks that the Wildcats are so weak, they should spend each week lifting weights instead of practicing:

He also says they make every quarterback look like a Heisman winner (and the numbers would support this):

He feels bad for the school, program, and fans:

And guarantees they’ll “get out of it” (being awful, that is):

It will be interesting to see how long RichRod gets to show that the program can be turned around.

The Wildcats finish off their season next Friday against their in-state rival Arizona State Wildcats. ESPN is televising the game, and I’d advise they just show a camera of RichRod on the sidelines over the actual game action.
