Well, this is a new one.

The start of the second quarter of Saturday’s Rice-Army game was delayed when one of the Army mules left its err… mark… in one of the end zones.

In most cases, having a live mascot is an obvious upgrade to the foam and polyester alternative. However, they are not without their downsides, as today’s incident shows us.

There is a tendency to make the obvious “Army is literally shitting on the field” joke here, but the Black Knights were actually winning, 14-7, when this occurred (They are now up 28-14 in the third quarter). So instead let this be a metaphor for Week 2’s terrible slate of games.
