They say the passion for college football is unable to be matched with what you will find in the south. I mean, the fans in the south are so passionate about their favorite SEC school, they literally are getting engaged at weekly coaches’ radio shows.
Such was the case Thursday night at the weekly radio show with Auburn head coach Gus Malzahn. At one point during the coach’s radio show, the big question was asked by Auburn fan Dalton proposed to Jenny. Apparently, she said yes.

Malzahn offered some kind words of advice to the lovely couple, although it is unconfirmed if he was speaking about their future marriage or the remainder of Auburn’s 2016 season.
Malzahn's reaction: "Wow. Just enjoy it. Buckle up."

Who are we to judge this setting. Perhaps Auburn football runs deep in these two families. Maybe Auburn football is a special bond between these two lovebirds? Maybe they met on the night of the fateful Kick Six against Alabama. Maybe, just maybe, there is a special connection between the two over hours of listening to the weekly call-in show with one of the coaches on the hottest of coaching seats this season after dropping the season opener at home.
We don’t know, but you can rest assured the wedding will not conflict with an Auburn football game (it is March 25, 2017, so it looks like they avoid a schedule conflict with the Auburn spring game as well), and there will likely be plenty of toilet paper thrown at their wedding.
War damn Eagle, newly engaged Auburn fans. They may be the only championship rings Dalton and Jenny get while being Auburn fans for a while.
