Former Auburn Tigers quarterback Bo Nix made his debut with the Oregon Ducks on Saturday, and it didn’t go well.
The No. 11 Ducks were annihilated 49-3 by the defending champion Georgia Bulldogs in Atlanta. Nix completed 21-of-37 passes for 173 yards and two interceptions, both of which came in the first half (No. 3 Georgia took a 28-3 lead into halftime).
The second interception was particularly rough:

Nothing wrong with Bo Nix's 1st interception. Just a great defensive play.
But the 2nd INT?? Absolutely awful. Yuck.

Nix is now 0-4 in his career vs Georgia.
Oregon's new quarterback is familiar with the Georgia Bulldogs.
Bo Nix played Georgia three times as Auburn's QB, losing all three while completing just 56 percent of his passes and being sacked nine times. He meets UGA again today, seeking to snap that personal losing streak. pic.twitter.com/RTK0wTJmN1

College football fans have had a lot to say about Nix’s poor play. Here are some examples of the Twitter reaction:

So Bo Nix is still Bo Nix, huh?

Bo Nix throwing INTs to Georgia players.
The more things change…

Was Bo Nix aware Oregon played Georgia when he decided where to transfer?

Nix and the Oregon offense have a long way to go, but at least they won’t have to face Georgia again. If the offense doesn’t look much better next week in a home game against Eastern Washington, then fans in Eugene may be calling for a quarterback change.
