Brett Rypien had a good freshman season at quarterback with the Boise State Broncos, who finished 9-4 last season. He will be looking to avoid a sophomore slump, and if his trick shots are any indication, he should be just fine.

Rypien showed off his accuracy in a video posted on Twitter by Boise State head coach Bryan Harsin on Sunday, in which Rypien throws a football perfectly into a basketball hoop at Albertsons Stadium (the Smurf Turf), with some nice range too:

The soon-to-be sophomore made the throw look absolutely effortless, hitting nothing but net after a simple step into his throw with very little momentum. The high-arcing throw fell beautifully into the hoop, like a Steph Curry three-pointer. Wild cheers came from those that were present to see Rypien’s trick shot excellence.

If Rypien is able to have such accuracy during the season, it should be a great season in Boise. He’ll definitely be making his receivers look good.
