Michigan State point guard Cassius Winston had 7 assists in the first half of Thursday’s game against Nebraska, but one stood out above all the others. After all, it’s not everyday you see an off-the-backboard alley-oop in the first half of a game by a team who’s fighting on the NCAA Tournament bubble.

Just no respect for the game nowadays from freshmen.

But in all seriousness, that was pure viciousness from Sparty.

While dropping all those dimes in the first half, Winston forgot to score! He had 3.2 seconds to fix that before the buzzer, and that was plenty of time for him to casually bank in a half-court shot.

The Spartans are having their way with Nebraska, and that’s big as a loss tonight could have put them back on the wrong side of the bubble. The Comeback’s most recent bracketology had Michigan State as a No. 10 seed .
