We all understand that some crazy stuff goes on at the bottom of a pile in football when there is a battle for the football. Maybe Clemson’s Christian Wilkins forgot he wasn’t exactly being covered up by a mass of football players when he went to give Ohio State’s Curtis Samuel a thorough examination.
What possesses a player to do that to another player? Sure, you want to get away with an extra hit here and there, but digging into another man’s genitals region is, well, below the belt.

Wilkins was not flagged for a penalty by the Pac-12 officiating crew calling the College Football Playoff semifinal matchup in the Fiesta Bowl, but you have to imagine this incident will be reviewed by the ACC office in the coming days, especially with the clip of this incident spreading like a wildfire around the college football internet, even on New Year’s Eve.
