Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski went ballistic at his own school’s student section during the Blue Devils’ game against Pittsburgh on Tuesday night at Cameron Indoor Stadium.
The “Cameron Crazies” had a chant directed at Jeff Capel, the current Pitt coach. The students were reportedly chanting, “Jeff Capel sit with us!”
A chant of "Jeff Capel sit with us" is met with an irate Coach K yelling for his fans to "Shut up." He then comes over to the student section after the half to tell the fans "He's one of us!"

As Pitt was shooting free throws, some of the students were chanting (what sounded like) "Jeff Capel sit with us." Mike Krzyzewski, from across the court, yelled "Shut up" to them several teams. Was very clearly incensed.

Coach K either didn’t like that chant — or thought the students were saying something else disrespectful about Capel — and walked across the court to yell at the fans, “Shut up!” and “He’s one of us!”
A bizarre scene to see Coach K absolutely livid at the most famous student section in college sports.
Capel was a star guard for Coach K from 1993-97, and has served as an interim head coach in place of Coach K while being an assistant on the Duke staff in the past (he was a Duke assistant coach from 2011-18). You may remember this half-court buzzer-beater from Capel to force double overtime vs North Carolina at Cameron Indoor in 1995.
