college baseball comeback South Carolina against Missouri.

The South Carolina Gamecocks faced off against the Missouri Tigers in a battle of ranked SEC teams, and an insane comeback from the Gamecocks caught the attention of the college baseball world.

South Carolina went into the bottom of the ninth inning trailing by three runs thanks to an unreal performance in the game from Missouri’s Luke Mann.

Mann was absolutely terrific at the plate on Friday, hitting three home runs and six RBIs to help the Tigers jump out to this lead.

Unfortunately for Tigers fans, this would not be enough to hold off South Carolina. The Gamecocks would start a ninth inning rally with a two-run RBI single from outfielder Caleb Denny to bring Missouri’s lead down to one.

Jonathan French then came off the bench and tied the game with an RBI single to make it a tie game.

The unreal comeback was then capped off with the help of some poor defense from Missouri. South Carolina second baseman Michael Braswell hit a ground ball the shortstop, and Missouri’s Justin Colon threw the ball past the third baseman to get the lead runner out. This led to Caleb Denny running home and winning the game.

Many took to social media to offer their opinion on this unbelievable comeback victory for South Carolina.

This win propels South Carolina to a 21-2 record on the year. while Missouri will look to get their revenge in the remaining two games of this three-game series this weekend.
