college baseball walk-off homer Oklahoma State against Baylor.

Friday’s college baseball matchup between the Baylor Bears and the Oklahoma State Cowboys produced one of the best comebacks on the season thus far which was capped off in extremely dramatic fashion.

The Bears got off to an incredibly hot start, jumping out to a 7-0 lead by the end of the third inning. The Cowboys had quite a bit of ground to cover to get back into this game, which is exactly what they did.

Oklahoma State first baseman David Mendham got things started with a ridiculous three-run homer that left the stadium entirely.

The Cowboys would rally all the way back to take a 9-7 lead by the end of the fourth inning. However, Baylor tied things up at 9-9, which is where it would stay until the 11th inning.

Oklahoma State’s defense impressed in the top half of the inning, with right fielder Carson Benge gunning down a baserunner trying to advance to third base to get out of the inning.

Oklahoma State would take advantage of this in the bottom half of the inning. The Cowboys completed their unreal comeback with a clutch walk-off home run from shortstop Marcus Brown.

Many Oklahoma State fans took to social media after the game to react to this absolutely unreal comeback.

Baylor will look to get their revenge for this blown lead this weekend in the final two games of this three-game series.
