The University of Texas needed some good news at the end of a stressful and difficult week for its football program. The men’s basketball team came through on Saturday, knocking off No. 3 North Carolina, 84-82, to provide a substantial boost to Shaka Smart’s first season in Austin.

Texas made its last two field goals in the 35 seconds of regulation. Both baskets were the result of offensive rebounds. Javan Felix got the last offensive board, and his subsequent shot beat the buzzer… by less than one-tenth of a second, as this full-sequence video shows.
