The unranked Arkansas Razorbacks beat the No. 1 Auburn Tigers 80-76 in overtime on Tuesday night at Bud Walton Arena. JD Notae led the way for Arkansas in scoring with a game-high 28 points.
It’s only Auburn’s second loss on the season (22-2), and it’s the Tigers’ first SEC loss of the season (10-1). Arkansas improves to 19-5 on the season and 8-3 in SEC play.
The scene at Bud Walton Arena was chaotic as the final buzzer sounded, with students rushing the floor and the lights going out.

Gonzaga (who’s far and away No. 1 on Ken Pomeroy’s rankings) will move to No. 1 in the polls if they can avoid home losses to Pacific and No. 22 St. Mary’s this week.
Here’s a look at some of the reaction to Arkansas’ victory:

With Auburn's loss to Arkansas, every Division I team has at least 2 losses this season.
The last team to win the NCAA Tournament with 1 or 0 losses will remain the 1975-76 unbeaten Indiana Hoosiers. pic.twitter.com/Veq83BOXo8

JD Notae tonight for @RazorbackMBB against No. 1 Auburn:
28 points
5 rebounds
3 assists
4 blocks
3 stealsIn the last 25 years, the only other player to have 25/5/3/3/3 against an AP Top 10 opponent was Kevin Durant at No. 6 Texas A&M on February 5, 2007.

Via @ESPNStatsInfo: Arkansas has now won 12 of its 20 home games against top-five opponents in the AP Poll era (since 1948-49). That's the second-best winning percentage of any program, behind only Kentucky.

Heck of a win for the Razorbacks. And further proof that there really isn’t a true No. 1 team in the country.
Might even have to put Arkansas back in the Top 25 after this one. … https://t.co/FqCqpWEV8p

That's NINE straight for Arkansas, this time over No. 1 Auburn.

Auburn got beat in a basketball game and the court got stormed. You love to see it.
Bud Walton was insane tonight. I’m not a hypocrite, it’s fun. Enjoy college sports. Hell of a game.
