Under the presence of Prince Cheddward and the bright lights of the Cheez-It Bowl, Brock Purdy hasn’t exactly had a “purdy” night.

With the Iowa State offense struggling against Clemson, Purdy needed a big play midway through the end of the third quarter. Instead, Purdy decided to play volleyball for some reason when a deflected pass returned to him. That led to Mario Goodrich, who knew he was playing football, to intercept the pass for the pick six.

Social media was perplexed by Purdy’s move as Clemson went out to a double-digit lead.
