While the Clemson Tigers ultimately dominated the Georgie Tech Yellowjackets in Monday night’s season-opener, it wasn’t always pretty as the Tigers managed just 14 points in the first half and even had fans calling for Clemson to bench quarterback DJ Uiagalelei. But Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney took some criticism for another reason on Monday night: his absolutely massive play call sheet.

During the game, Swinney was patrolling the sidelines with a play call sheet that looked to be about the size of a small posterboard – much bigger than any sheet he’s had on the sideline previously. When Swinney held the sheet up to his face, it covered the entire top half of his torso and most of his face.

Swinney’s play call sheet was so jarringly massive that the college football world couldn’t help but notice, with many taking to Twitter to poke fun at the Clemson coach and draw similarities to various restaurant menus.

It may have been an odd sight, but at the end of the day, it seemed to work as the Tigers used a second-half surge to beat Georgia Tech 41-10. Perhaps this means Swinney will break out this massive sheet every week to make sure his Tigers are victorious.
