The Connecticut Huskies got their first big win in the Dan Hurley era with an 83-76 upset victory over No. 15 Syracuse in the 2K Classic on Thursday night at Madison Square Garden.

Hurley — head coach at Rhode Island from 2012-18 — was *quite* excited about UConn’s win, and emphatically chest-bumped Huskies guard Jalen Adams — tied for a team-high with 16 points — when the clock ran out.

And seconds later, Hurley regained his composure to give Syracuse head coach Jim Boeheim a professional handshake.

Very well done by Hurley, and very well done by his 3-0 Huskies with the upset win.
