The Denver Pioneers won the NCAA hockey national championship with a 3-2 victory over Minnesota Duluth on Saturday night at the United Center, good for DU’s eighth national title:

Pioneers goaltender Tanner Jaillet — winner of the 2017 Mike Richter award for nation’s top goaltender — was outstanding in the win, stopping 38 of the 40 shots Minnesota Duluth put on goal.

And after the game, ESPN’s Quint Kessenich got an interview with Jaillet, which included a casual F-bomb from the goaltender:

“We stuck to our gameplan, we made plays, and we fuckin’ won.”

Fair enough! Kessenich either completely missed the F-bomb or smoothly played it off and continued the interview.

  1. The true hypocrisy out of all this is if the goaltender would have snapped his stick in half and started stabbing people with blood everywhere, it would not have even generated a news story, but if you say any naughty work while doing it….. PANIC PANIC PANIC, there would be FCC investigations, right wing congressional committees and all the special religious cult group would boycott ESPN plus pray for the soul of the executives.

Nobody ever said a dirty work and the word directly killed someone.

Like they said on South Park: “when you’re out there in the battlefield, and you’re looking into the beady eyes of a Canadian as he charges you with his hockey stick or whatever he has, and people are dying all around you, just remember what the MPAA says: “Horrific, deplorable violence is okay, as long as people don’t say any naughty words.” That is what this war is all about! “
