The Army-Navy Game has always been a great tradition in sportsmanship, and it will be welcoming a guest that will surely bring eyes to the television screen – President elect Donald Trump.
This isn’t the first time a president or president-elect have decided to attend the game, as both Barack Obama and George W. Bush have been in attendance in years past.
It can’t be denied that Trump is a big sports fan, having run the USFL into the ground while owning the New Jersey Generals for a short period of time and playing baseball in his younger years. He even courted Patriots stalwarts Bill Belichick and Tom Brady during the election cycle.
A Trump spokesperson said in a statement that Trump will be sitting on the Army side during the first half and during the second half he would be sitting on the Navy side. Diplomatic indeed.

The game will take place in Baltimore, and marks the first time that Trump will have visited the city, according to the Baltimore Sun.

As athletes continue to make political statements denouncing the president-elect, the games he chooses to attend will continue to make for weird, albeit mandatory, news. It will definitely be front page news if he ever decides to attend a Cavaliers game, the biggest name in basketball has already spoken out against him and would make for an interesting encounter.
Who would’ve thought that the attendance of a president at a sporting event could garner WWE levels of intrigue?
