There was a college football bowl game on Monday afternoon, and very, very few people can say they were on hand to witness it.
Tulsa and Central Michigan squared off in the Miami Beach Bowl on Monday at Marlins Park, and the crowd actually looked quite similar to a Marlins game.

Maybe it's a Hanukkah arriving crowd at the Miami Beach Bowl. @EmptySeatsPics pic.twitter.com/hG0BhzehWg

Nothing like a college football bowl game between teams from Michigan and Oklahoma at the #LoriaDome. #MiamiBeachBowl @EmptySeatsPics pic.twitter.com/h4WSzHs3GM

Who could’ve thought a 2:30 PM bowl game on a work day between two non-Power Five schools — that are located nowhere near Miami — wouldn’t result in good attendance? And in an area already known for poor sports attendance.
The crappy scheduling time is thanks to the abundance of bowl games, as well as Monday Night Football on ESPN, but surely there had to be a better way to go about this.
The actual game only made the atmosphere even more boring, as Tulsa blew out Central Michigan 55-10.
