So Grayson Allen is up to his old and dirty tricks again, and Duke alum and current ESPN analyst Jay Williams is none too pleased with not only Allen, but also how the Duke coaching staff is dealing with the guard’s temper tantrums.

But Williams went beyond just this tweet. At halftime of ESPN’s broadcast of Kentucky-Louisville, he went even further.
Nothing Williams or Seth Greenberg said in that clip is wrong in any way, and good on them for shutting down any notions that Allen was induced by the Elon player into tripping him, given that he has a well-documented history of these issues and has somehow skirted further punishment.
I wonder whether the crescendo of criticism from not only outside voices but also former Duke players like Jay Williams will force Coach K’s hand into taking action before even the ACC can. Duke’s next game is 10 days from now against Virginia Tech, as the Blue Devils begin conference play.
