Georgia Kirby Smart

Coaches coach and players play and there’s a very good reason they stick to their roles. Sometimes the coaches try to get involved in the action and it never ends well.

Just ask Georgia Bulldogs head coach Kirby Smart.

Down 7-0 to the LSU Tigers, the Bulldogs got a big break in the first quarter when they recovered a fumble. Safety Lewis Cine recovered the ball and immediately ran to the sidelines to celebrate. Smart ran out onto the field to meet his defender and join in the excitement. The two jumped in the air towards one another in a celebratory bump and when they hit each other, Smart went flying.

We understand the excitement, coach, but stick to the sidelines. You can’t handle those bumps!

The best part? The fumble was overturned and didn’t even count. LSU now leads 14-0. Wheeeee!
