Despite being one of the most disliked players in college basketball, Grayson Allen is hyper-talented. He is the typical Duke player, he works hard and decides to get on everyone’s nerves by the way he plays.

After multiple incidents where he went a little trigger happy with his foot, he has been trying to stay on a good path that involves minimal controversy.

Try as he might, he has found his way back into the news, this time with an injury that will make people with the most iron of stomachs turn queasy.

As you can see, after fighting for a loose ball, Allen comes up limp and notices immediately that something isn’t right. He takes a quick peak at his hand and almost recoils in disgust.

To be fair, it is not looking good and is obviously injured.

Allen ended up getting his fingers taped and was able to return to the game at the beginning of the second half. He rode the pine while the Blue Devils pulled away and outscored the Miami Hurricanes down the stretch. The final score ended up being 70-58 and Allen finished with seven points, two rebounds and two assists.

An overall pedestrian night for the star guard, nonetheless, he somehow makes the mundane more interesting. What a talent to have.
