Greg Schiano has moved on from Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach to Ohio State defensive coordinator. But he’s still managing to make headlines for the wrong reason.

Schiano hit a biker while driving early Thursday morning — around 6:50 a.m. to be exact. As far as we know, the incident isn’t too tragic. The Columbus Dispatch reports that the biker will be OK after being hit by the much-maligned football coach.

The Columbus Police and Fire divisions, along with OSU police, were called at 6:50 a.m. to the corner of West Lane Avenue and Fred Taylor Drive on the report of a crash.

A 26-year-old male student on a bike was struck in the intersection. He was taken in stable condition to Wexner Medical Center at Ohio State University, said Sgt. Brooke Wilson of the Police Division’s Accident Investigation Unit.

First of all, although this is a sad incident, this is probably you’re time to connect this incident to the fact that the Schiano is known as an angry and mean coach. The student is expected to be okay even though he suffered head injuries.

It’d be interesting to hear Schiano’s honest explanation for this case. He’s an angry guy, but he can’t be that angry. For Urban Meyer’s sake, hopefully this will be the last time we hear about this.
