Earlier in the season, Washington’s Dante Pettis set for the PAC-12 record for career punt return touchdowns, and the following week he tied the NCAA record for career punt return touchdowns with No. 8. It seemed inevitable that Pettis would get No. 9 to set the NCAA record if teams were dumb enough to continue kicking to him, and indeed the Oregon Ducks were on Saturday night!

Here’s Pettis returning a punt 64 yards to set the NCAA record in front of the Washington home crowd:


Pettis is also a very talented wide receiver and could be a first-round pick in next year’s NFL Draft, so we may see him taking his electrifying returns to the next level.
