On Saturday, college football will see major matchups from Alabama vs. USC to Clemson vs. Auburn to Wisconsin vs. LSU. But there’s also a big game taking place across the pond in Ireland.

Georgia Tech is slated to face Boston College on Saturday at Aviva Stadium in Dublin, Ireland. Even though neither school is a top 10 program like Alabama, Clemson and LSU, it’s still a big game.

Naturally, for the fans traveling all the way to Dublin for the game, they’ll want to pick up souvenirs. However, it’s already evident that Ireland isn’t very big on college football, or at least some people in Ireland aren’t as big fans.

A gift store in Dublin is selling green t-shirts advertising this weekend’s matchup as not Georgia Tech vs. Boston College, but instead Georgia against Boston. Did someone not tell us the University of Georgia Bulldogs and Boston University Terriers were playing in Ireland this weekend?

Well at least the date, location, and sport are right.

This is the second season in a row Boston College has had trouble with the Irish. Last year, BC faced Notre Dame at Fenway Park, just a couple miles down the road from its campus. However, the Eagles were the visiting team in their own city and weren’t too happy.
