The UCLA Bruins just pulled off the second-largest comeback in college football history, with an absolutely stunning 45-44 victory over Texas A&M on Sunday night in Pasadena.

Texas A&M led 44-10 with just over two minutes to go in the third quarter, and took a 44-17 lead into the fourth quarter. That’s when UCLA quarterback Josh Rosen — 35/58, 491 yards, 4 TD, 0 INT on the night — led the ridiculous comeback, and capped it off with this awesome fake spike touchdown pass to tie the game with 43 seconds left.

And Gus Johnson was on the call for Fox, so you know he went crazy:

UCLA then hit the extra point for the lead, and color commentator Joel Klatt said, “I still don’t quite believe what we’ve just witnessed.”

And here were the final seconds:

After the game, Johnson and Klatt spoke more in disbelief about what they just watched. Klatt called Rosen’s performance “maybe the most epic performance I’ve ever witnessed”:

That performance is sure to impress NFL scouts, and Rosen was already considered one of the top candidates to be the No. 1 pick in next year’s NFL Draft.

  1. You just knew there was going to be something bizarre happening in this game with Gus Johnson on the call. It’s almost as predictable an event as the sun rising in the east every day.
