In 30 years, the Kentucky Wildcats’ Derek Willis probably isn’t going to remember the final score (73-67) of his team’s win over the Vanderbilt Commodores on Senior Night, or how many points (3), rebounds (8), and blocks (3) he had in the game.

But the senior forward sure as heck will remember Tuesday night’s pregame ceremony at Rupp Arena. Willis was being honored for Senior Night, when he surprised everyone by smoothly dropping to one knee, and proposing to his girlfriend, Keely Potts.

She said yes:

Senior Nights always provide many emotional, memorable moments, but this year’s in college basketball have been especially great (like Kansas star Frank Mason III giving an awesome speech to his son).
