Lance Berkman Six-time MLB All-Star Lance Berkman, now the head baseball coach at Houston Christian University, had a hilarious ejection on Saturday.

Since wrapping up his playing career in 2013, six-time MLB All-Star Lance Berkman has moved into coaching. He’s now in his second year as head coach of the baseball team at Houston Christian University (formerly Houston Baptist University). As a player, Berkman’s temper would occasionally be on display. As a coach, that hasn’t changed.

Berkman was unhappy with a call during the Huskies game on Saturday against Seton Hall. He argued the call and was subsequently ejected. The argument featured discussions with multiple umpires and one glorious finale, with Berkman chucking his hat into the stands as he was walking off of the field.

Adding to the humor, this was all done with one of the most mellow songs ever written — John Denver’s “Take Me Home, Country Roads” — playing in the background.

The argument was enjoyed by several different people on Twitter.

Berkman had a lot to be frustrated about on Saturday, as the Huskies fell to the Pirates, 7-4. It’s been a rough season for Houston Christian thus far, as Saturday’s loss moved HCU to 0-6 on the season. Even worse, the three-run loss was actually the team’s best performance.

We’re guessing if things don’t change, the Big Puma’s frustration may be on display a few more times this season.
