The college football world exploded over the past 24 hours as Alabama coach Nick Saban blasted NIL deals, specifically calling out Jackson State and Texas A&M and implying the Aggies “bought every player on their team.”

Jackson State coach Deion Sanders responded in kind and then Texas A&M coach Jimbo Fisher called a no-holds-barred press conference to rip “God,” a.k.a. Saban, to shreds, inferring that if the Bama coach wants people investigated, someone might want to “dig into his past.”

The college football world was absolutely glued to the drama on Thursday. Another person who couldn’t look away was Lane Kiffin, head coach at Ole Miss, and a direct rival to both Fisher and Saban.

Kiffin, in his usual troll-y way, had a lot of fun reacting to the commentary and drama over the last couple of days.

When Saban first started dropping bombs, Kiffin was there with the reactions.

He also then stepped in to defend Deion Sanders over Saban’s charges.

The Ole Miss coach then broke out the popcorn for the big show on Thursday.

Kiffin also had a lot of fun retweeting other reactions to Jimbo’s presser and the overall drama between the two SEC rivals.

While Kiffin’s reputation has certainly been controversial over the years, he’s a pretty ideal character for a time like this and a wonderful addition to the madness that is SEC football, especially as the jester cracking jokes at the monarchs expense.

Same, Lane. Same.
