The Ole Miss – LSU game Saturday saw a lot of strange plays, from juking LSU punter Zach Von Rosenberg through five LSU interceptions through this touchdown throw into double coverage by Ole Miss QB Matt Corral. But the strangest of all came on another play from Corral, a touchdown run on a ball fake that it fooled even head linesman Gus Morris III, who ran in to see if the running back crossed the goal line and wound up getting hit hard by Corral and knocked down. Here’s the play as it happened:
