The Michigan Wolverines are moving on in the NCAA Tournament, but they took a loss where it matters most to some. A last-second three-point shot by Oklahoma State’s Jawun Evans at the buzzer provided the final score, 92-91 in favor of Michigan. Of course, the Cowboys made a lot of people happy by creating a one-point game. That’s because Michigan was a 2.5-point favorite according to the experts in the desert.

That, friends, is a backdoor cover and quite a bad beat.

Jim Nantz is just fine as a play-by-play man, but this was a moment that left some wishing there was another announcer behind the microphone.

Musburger is retired from broadcasting and working on his new Las Vegas business in the gambling world. One can only imagine how he reacted in the heat of the moment the instant the ball went through the net.
