If the Michigan Wolverines appear a little frazzled when they arrive at the Big Ten men’s basketball tournament in Washington D.C., you can forgive them. The plane taking the Wolverines to the nation’s capital for the Big Ten tournament had to abort a takeoff on Wednesday and went sliding off the runway.
Fortunately, Michigan’s athletics department says all members of the program and traveling party were safe following the brief scare. As expected, Michigan is making alternative plans to get to their destination.
Our team and everyone in our travel party is safe. Update on today's travel accident.

Michigan is not scheduled to play in the Big Ten Tournament until Thursday with a noon eastern tip against Illinois. Here’s wishing them safe travels the rest of the way to D.C.
