The Michigan Wolverines have experienced the highest of highs and the lowest of lows in the past couple weeks.

After their plane failed to take off and crashed at the end of the runway, John Beilein’s squad was more worried about their lives than a basketball game. Now, hopefully with all the bad stuff behind them, the Wolverines seemingly have no pressure progressing through March Madness.

After winning the Big Ten Tournament as an eight seed and defeating Oklahoma State as a seven seed in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. They kept that going after upsetting second seed Louisville today.

So how did Michigan celebrate? By keeping it light, Beilein got through and took a super soaker on his players for a job well done.

After a tough couple weeks, it’s great to see Beilein keep things loose with his players even though things could have been much, much worse.

Now entering the Sweet 16, Michigan rolls on. While the other 15 teams will be under pressure to advance, Michigan already won. Everything at this stage is a bonus.
