The Oklahoma State men’s basketball team got started with their NCAA tournament Friday afternoon against the Big Ten champion Michigan Wolverines. While you can imagine most people associated with the Cowboys would be plugged into the tournament action, Oklahoma State football coach Mike Gundy was off doing something else. Gundy, and his fabulous mullet, were off in the wild catching snakes.

Gundy shared an image of himself holding up a rattlesnake with the proper equipment, and that’s a good thing. As you can tell in the picture shared below, that snake does not seem to be too happy with Gundy at this particular moment. We’re just assuming that because the photo was tweeted from Gundy’s Twitter account that the coach managed to come away from this without harm.

Seriously. Take a closer look at that party in the back Gundy continues to take with him. That’s a man who knows how to have a good time in the state of Oklahoma, 365 days a year.

Now, maybe there is a chance this photo was taken earlier and shared from the comfort of home or the office with a TV tune into the NCAA Tournament. We know that Gundy will hold nothing back in supporting other Cowboys athletics program. Just recently Gundy suited up in a wrestling singlet to promote a big wrestling match coming up at the time. It was a smash viral hit, and inspired a follow-up photo opp from Penn State’s coaching staff.

We’ll have to wait and see if Jim Harbaugh will respond to this Gundy photo by going out on his own snake hunt after the Oklahoma State-Michigan tournament matchup. Considering it is Harbaugh we are talking about, this is an entirely believable possibility.
