The unranked Minnesota Golden Gophers beat the Wisconsin Badgers (#14 CFP, #18 AP) at home Saturday to claim the Paul Bunyan’s Axe rivalry trophy, leading to their fans storming the field. But the funniest part of that was how the stadium PA responded by playing House of Pain’s “Jump Around,” a noted tradition at Wisconsin home games:
THESE SCENES! #Gophers troll #Badgers by playing “Jump Around” after Minnesota wins Paul Bunyan’s Axe with a 23-13 win over Wisconsin on Saturday at Huntington Bank Stadium.

That is quite a funny response. And maybe it can lead to more tradition-stealing. The next time Wisconsin wins in this rivalry, they should start using Minnesota head coach P.J. Fleck’s “Row the boat” catchphrase.
